Quality Enterprises is looking for a Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic is primarily responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles under supervision, ensuring the safety and reliability of the Company's fleet assets.

Position Requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
- Assist senior mechanics mechanics with more complex repairs and diagnostics.
- Review DOT/DVIR requests and coordinate repair schedule with dispatch and drivers to ensure that vehicles are safe to operate, and downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Learn and apply proper repair techniques for various vehicle systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record all maintenance activities in the fleet management system.
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
- At least one ASE required in the A or T series.
- Experience with fleet or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Valid Florida Class E driver license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques required.
- Ability to use standard automotive tools and equipment required.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a garage setting with exposure to noise, fumes, and moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods of time.
- May require working weekends or overtime as needed.
